Yesterday was a great day for me, Heather from our spindlers@yahoogroups.com met with me for a couple hours and showed me how to spin with a Spindle, I had so much fun and she is such a doll to do this for me, she even gave me some of her fiber to try out. When I came home I ordered the "Purple Heart Mide" from Sheila at http://www.journeywheel.com I can't wait to get it next week some time.

Then I come home and check my mail and here I get the yarn I ordered from Astrid at http://www.astridsdutchobsessions.com/scripts/default.asp

I sure received it fast it only took 16 days even with the Holidays going on. Here is a picture of the yarn I ordered.

At least I can't say,"I have nothing to do".

I just finished these socks but I'm still working on making the socks tighter on my feet.

I love knitting them and hope to do many more.

I used Trekking yarn for this pair and did not get the chance to really line up the colors but hope to do a better job next time.
