Went camping this past weekend with some sisters and we had such a great time, this was the first time I hooked up my camper and took off by my self, can't wait to do it again.  There is no better group than the Sisters On the Fly.

Of course I brought Rufus with me.
I finally knitted something for me it took longer than I had planned but I love it.  The picture isn't that great but you get the idea, pattern was bought at Patternworks.

Well for once I have some news--last weekend I went as a guest camping with "Sisters on the Fly" http://www.sistersonthefly.com/ what fun I had----------I had so darn much fun I came home and bought a used 2007 Tahoe and a 1997 Shadlow Cruiser Trailer, the cutest darn thing I've seen in a long time. This was also the first time I drove hauling a trailer and coming home and backing it up, that will take more practice but I'll get it.

My trailer is damn tiny 13.9' but it will seat 4 and sleep 4 and it is cute. I am hoping to take Toby with me when I get him I can probably carry him in my pocket if no one minds if I take him. Any women wanting to join go to the web site and register.

My heart has sure been heavy since we lost Sammy but we are bringing a new little boy into our lives we will love just as much.

How could you not love that face.

New shawls I have knitted using Cacade 220 wonderful yarn to work with. The green one I gave to a friend and the red one I will keep.

I received some beautiful fiber I met on Ravelry and I just received it back from being processed from Fantasy Fiber, it turned out wonderful the brown shows up real good in one phone but looks more tan in the other one. It is Shetland Fleece and Alpaca if I remember correctly. I'm going to spin the Shetland for a sweater. I have more I just didn't take a picture of all of them.

This past weekend I had some friends over to sit out on the deck and spin and it was so nice to have them over we had a great time.
I'm off in the corner spinning like crazy. What fun!!!!

So far I have been spinning some real nice fiber for a sweater I want to make and I'm spinning it on my E-Spinner it sure goes much faster.

Here is what I have spun so far
I went to OFFF and had a wonderful time I finally meet the Sock Lady Spins http://sockladyspins.blogspot.com Lynne that made my day she is so nice I can't wait to see her next year.
I also bought a Hansen ESpinner which I love it is so easy to use. I bought some wonderful fiber and had a great time with my hubby and friends.

Scarf up date here is a picture of it but it looks sloppy so I'm tearing it out and starting over maybe next time it will look better so I'm happy with it.

A shawl I'm trying to finish and it is giving me a headache.

Well I guess there is a first for every thing, this shawl is my first knitted shawl. I made it for my niece Tina and from her phone call she was not only surprised when she received it but loved the shawl.

I just finished my sweater and I'm very happy with it, it was very interesting to wash the fiber, flick it, spin it then knit it, which thank God for Jacqueline Fee yahoo group , Jackie was awesome helping me and from her book "The Sweater Workshop" and my friend Carol who said, I could do it.

I'm so happy with it and will really love it this coming winter.

I did not get a doffer with the drum carder so I took the sharpner out of one set of knives we have, it works great to lift up the fibers off of the drum carder.

Then I needed something to take the fiber off with---in the book "Teach Your Self Visually Handspinning" by Judith MacKenzie McCuin, she shows how she uses a dowel with plastic attached to it for the slicker and it works wonderful my DH made one for me right away. Great items and easy to get.
