Well I love snow and for the last few days we have received some 5" so far and more to come in the next day or two.

It has been awhile since I did these quilts, but they were done out of shirts from my DH Aunts husbands shirts after he passed away, it was a way for her to remember him.

He had tons of Pendleton shirts, there are two that is not shown but they pretty much looks like the one on the chair. I asked his Aunt to please take pictures and send them to me, they sure look different on her furniture than in my sewing room. She was pleased.

Well after the wonderful knitting class I have been working on a pair of socks, her is a picture of them so far. Using 4 colors on the sock is different that is for sure but they will be nice once I'm done.

Well today was a full day of fun knitting at our local LYS, here are a few pictures I took today. The top one with the bag was a gift for each of us at the class, the second one was a drawing I won, the third one was some yarn we all traded for, the 4th one was the final prize won by my Pal Brenda and she already had it so we traded I'm giving her a sock kit I have, the last one is yarn I bought to use for all the fun ideas we received today in class.

I'm still working on my gloves but here is one of them plus a picture I painted for our son many, many years ago. One more glove to finish then I can start on another pair.

I've been going over some old pictures and thought I'd post some, some paintings I did in the past and me with some of my Salt & Pepper Shakers. This is a little different then knitting.

Well here is my first ever Fair Isle and it was fun. I just need to finish the lining and strap. I may make more.

Well it has been some time since I have posted but I've been busy, I finished a pair of socks and I'm working on my Icelandic Shawl**********This is not my finished Shawl but a picture of what it will look like when I'm done, I hope.

Here are the socks I just finished and hope to get the next pair done soon.

Now these were to be done 8 months ago for my sister in laws birthday well a lot was going on during that time so I just now finished them, I know she will love them no matter how long it took me.

Here is a lap quilt I made my DH out of shirts that belonged to his dad it turned out real nice.

Yesterday I had fun with two friend of mine Stacy and Brenda we spent a very nice day at Brenda's house and we put together Bunnies that we were working on. They were so much fun.

Things have been going slow for me but I'm getting a few things finished. The bracelet is for a friend I knitted it last night you will need to click on it to see it up close with all the beads, the Yo Yo Puppy is also for a friend and the Star quilt if finished in front now I have to quilt it which will not be fun, I'd rather just make the tops.

For the Bracelet I will knit them for people for $45 and the Puppy for $35 I would just need to know the colors wanted, plus measurments for the wrist, you can pay me by mail or pay pal so e-mail me if interested since it does take me awhile to get these done.

This has been something new for me, I had ordered this kit a couple years ago and just now bought material to sew it and I really liked how easy it was. Now I just need to buy the back ground material and get it all sewn together.

These were printed sheets from quiltsmart.com and they are so easy I just love them.

I wanted to put some pictures up of some of my sock yarn which I haven't had a chance to use yet. They really are wonderful.

Well this is a first for me but I "test" knitted a sock pattern for a friend and it did turn out wonderful, Mary did a great job with the pattern. Now all I need to do is do the second one.

These are not the best pictures but you can see a little bit of the snow we received in our field.

I just wish we had more it just never stays long enough for me.

Well things have been going okay around here, we have had some crazy weather with tons of rain and some now but nothing really too bad.

I broke down and bought a new Spinning Wheel "Kromski Sonata" and I love it and would highly recommend it to anyone. I really enjoy it.

It folds up and is very easy to take with me in the bag that came with it.

Now to start spinning.
