Now these were to be done 8 months ago for my sister in laws birthday well a lot was going on during that time so I just now finished them, I know she will love them no matter how long it took me.

Here is a lap quilt I made my DH out of shirts that belonged to his dad it turned out real nice.

Yesterday I had fun with two friend of mine Stacy and Brenda we spent a very nice day at Brenda's house and we put together Bunnies that we were working on. They were so much fun.

Things have been going slow for me but I'm getting a few things finished. The bracelet is for a friend I knitted it last night you will need to click on it to see it up close with all the beads, the Yo Yo Puppy is also for a friend and the Star quilt if finished in front now I have to quilt it which will not be fun, I'd rather just make the tops.
For the Bracelet I will knit them for people for $45 and the Puppy for $35 I would just need to know the colors wanted, plus measurments for the wrist, you can pay me by mail or pay pal so e-mail me if interested since it does take me awhile to get these done.

This has been something new for me, I had ordered this kit a couple years ago and just now bought material to sew it and I really liked how easy it was. Now I just need to buy the back ground material and get it all sewn together.

These were printed sheets from quiltsmart.com and they are so easy I just love them.

I wanted to put some pictures up of some of my sock yarn which I haven't had a chance to use yet. They really are wonderful.

Well this is a first for me but I "test" knitted a sock pattern for a friend and it did turn out wonderful, Mary did a great job with the pattern. Now all I need to do is do the second one.

These are not the best pictures but you can see a little bit of the snow we received in our field.

I just wish we had more it just never stays long enough for me.

Well things have been going okay around here, we have had some crazy weather with tons of rain and some now but nothing really too bad.

I broke down and bought a new Spinning Wheel "Kromski Sonata" and I love it and would highly recommend it to anyone. I really enjoy it.

It folds up and is very easy to take with me in the bag that came with it.

Now to start spinning.

Happy New Year Everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This past year has been very trying with my hubby's surgery and loosing his job after 42 years---we are doing fine but it was trying at times.

I have been spinning for awhile but really not doing it like I should, so this past month I did do some spinning and made my hubby a pair of gloves so I was new to doing both and really happy when I was done. Now for more practise on spinning.

We did have some snow on Christmas Day which was the first time for that in 20 years, normally we get it a few days or a month later, I love snow and was happy to see it.

My sewing room is a mess now but here is what it looks like when it is clean and one picture is of out little Sammy trying to help me sew.
Also check out my friends Blog and see her first doll, now let me tell you she is talented, she does awesome work http://artistyjourneyofadollmaker.blogspot.com/

Here is a gift I made one of my sister in laws and she loved it.

Each year I try to make my 3 sister in laws some thing different, so it has been fun. I skipped last year and will also skip this year but that will give me time to think about next year.

WINTER I loved last winter we had more then a day of snow and I love snow.

Here is our back yard and field.

WOW Babies are coming!!!!!!!!!!! Two of our nieces are having boys and my girl friends son and his girl friend are having a boy
I made a puff quilt but can not find the picture right now and I also crocheted a blanket, but here is what I sewed.
I made a diaper cake, t-shirt and overall bibs, they were a big hit.

It has been a long time since I have posted and a lot has happened since then.
This past summer I fell and broke my ankle, then I fell and cracked a rib what fun that was.

This past June my hubby after 42 years of working at the same place was fired for cussing---what a joke that was---I guess it is an easy way to get rid of long time employee's. He had calls that same night for different jobs---well he took one and worked for two days then the third day his foot hurt him and what a wake up call---his toe was black he ended up in the hospital and lost the top part of his foot after 11 days in their he came home for 1 month of bed rest.

We were lucky he only lost all his toes it could of been up to his knee.

He is doing great now and should be able to work by the new year, thank the Lord we had some CD's because since he can't look for work his unemployment was stopped. So we are strapped for money.
We are managing but we sure don't spend crazy.
I'm loading some of my jewelry that I have made and I'm going to sell on E-Bay to help us out----under ladyjm7--------- some are earrings, my cab pins, needle case necklace, barrette and bracelet plus more I should have time listed tomorrow.
I was able to take a doll class from Sherry Groshan---which is FABULOUS check
out her web site http://sherrygoshon.blogspot.com/search/label/Online%20classes You will not be disappointed.

Enjoy the pictures and thank you for looking at my blog.
